ROSMERSHOLM
Music for stage performance, Kilden teater (2022)
Music for the theatre piece "Rosmersholm" by Henrik Ibsen at Kilden teater og Kulturhus, Kristiansand. The music is performed live by two string players from Kilden Sympohony Orchestra and by the six performing actors.
Rosmersholm is perhaps Henrik Ibsen´s most complex and beautiful pieces, with lot of reference to the intense political and cultural debate in Norway during the 1880s. In this piece Ibsen returns to the nature mystery from his earliest pieces, and this, combined with the almost crime like plot, makes Rosmersholm one of Ibsen´s most mystical pieces.
Nominated to Heddaprisen 2022 for best scenography and costume design.
Publikum følger så intenst med at de knapt puster.
Dagbladet
Rosmersholm er blant de Ibsenstykkene man kjenner tittelen på, men svært sjelden ser spilt. På Kilden viser de at det godt kan endres.
