ANIARA
Music for stage, Nationaltheatret (2018)

The stage piece Aniara is based on Noble Price winner Harry Martinson´s epic poem Aniara from 1956. The poem is complex and may be read as a metaphor for the fate of the Earth, or the single human´s life travel through time and space, towards an unknown ending. The stage piece is initiated by Torshovgruppa and invites the audience into a unique meeting for reflection on the big existential questions. How long is eternity?

The audience is invited into a room being an esthetical experience in itself, a strange and naked universe. Music edited for for an 8 channel surround experience. Shown at the circular stage at Torshovteatret, Nationaltheatret

Balancing intimacy and distance, and touching us with insight into both the lived and the un-lived.

Visually so cool! (…) Intense, powerful, sincere and heavy (…) They have taken me back to the time of camp fires and fairytales

Sang 7, Aniara
